Faisal Hashmi is the Well-being Champion for Pakistan & Afghanistan Region and Asra Farooq leads CPS Well-being. They jointly took charge and successfully engaged Coca-Cola Pakistan associates to participate in Coca-Cola 2015 STEP Challenge. Post completion of the challenge the results were extraordinary, where 3 teams from Pakistan were on the top in Coca-Cola MENA (Middle East & North Africa) points table.

For 2016 Well-being challenge, both Faisal & Asra developed a winning strategy to engage and motivate the associates to participate. They not only created the awareness about the challenge but also organized onsite Fitbody boot camp, Zumba and fitness coaching sessions where associates in large participated and achieved the minimum steps required to qualify for the first stage of the challenge. “We believe that true victory can only be accomplished through effortless team work and support. I’m proud to see the enthusiasm of Coca-Cola Pakistan associates towards the STEP Challenge, instilling a sense of healthy competition and unity,” said Rizwan U. Khan, General Manager, The Coca-Cola Export Corporation. 

The next stage was writing an inspiring well-being #ThatsGold story and getting votes from the Company associates. 10 stories from Pakistan were shortlisted for voting, and finally stories of Faisal from MENA Region and Asra from CPS hit the numbers. Having won the VIP sponsored ticket as a prize, they are now attending Rio Olympics 2016 as proud Ambassadors of The Coca-Cola Company.
