Pakistan hosted Coca-Cola International President, Mr. Ahmet C. Bozer and MENA, Business Unit Leadership Team, who spent 3 days in Pakistan meeting with bottling partners, various stakeholders and participating in the townhall.  The objective of the business delegation  was to review system business performance along with Coca-Cola Icecek’s CEO, Burak Başarır.
To gain deeper insight of the Pakistan operations, the business delegation visited the Lahore plant on May 29, 2014. The day comprised of extensive market visits and a presentation from the bottlers regarding the KO Learning Centre; share acceleration and supply chain infrastructure strategy. The second day comprised of visiting the Lahore plant visit, market visits and town hall. 
The day was followed by a joint event with Coca-Cola Beverages Pakistan Limited (CCBPL) the bottler and The Coca-Cola Export Corporation, Pakistan Branch. The first half of the night ‘Savvy & Successful’, celebrated and recognized women, who have broken barriers and overcome stereotypes to achieve success in their respective fields. Six iconic Pakistani women were presented with the Savvy & Successful 2014 award by the Guest of Honor, Governor Punjab, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar and Ahmet C. Bozer, President, The Coca-Cola International.  The second half of the night had a live Coke Studio Performance entitled “Coke Studio Live,” which consisted of a variety of musicians and artists from Pakistan, Serbia, Italy and Turkey. The experiment therein demonstrated the underlying thread of global harmony. The performance allowed viewers into this space displaying a window into the world of live studio recordings as we showcased the musical process in its habitat  - with all elements both technical and creative that sum up to the collective whole.
The next day comprised of the groundbreaking ceremony for the Coca-Cola sponsored Aquatic Centre at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) took place on Friday, 30 May, 2014. Mr. Ahmet Bozer, President Coca-Cola International, the chief guest at the event, along with other members of the Coca-Cola team, were welcomed at LUMS by Dr. Sohail Naqvi, Vice Chancellor, LUMS, and Mr. Razzak Dawood, Rector, LUMS.
A memorandum of understanding was signed after which the groundbreaking took place at the site where the international standard indoor swimming pool will be built. The Coca-Cola Aquatic Centre will be built in line with FINA specifications and will measure 25 meters. The facility will be indoor, operational for all seasons and certified for national and international competitions. Presently there is no FINA approved 25 metre swimming pool operational at any university in Pakistan. With the addition of the Aquatic Centre, LUMS will be able to develop teams in swimming, water polo and other aquatic sports and inculcate active healthy living mindset amongst the student body. 
The day was followed by the town hall. The town hall was at full capacity as local associates gathered around for a special Town Hall with The Coca-Cola International President, Ahmet C. Bozer.  Following a warm welcome and introduction from Rizwan U. Khan, General Manager, The Coca-Cola Export Corporation, Pakistan, Ahmet Bozer congratulated Pakistani associates on the success that they attained but also urged them to remain focused in their quest to become market leaders.
Ahmet Bozer stressed upon improving category perception. “No single food item is the cause of obesity. Obesity is a serious and complex global health problem that requires the collective efforts of everyone – individuals; academia; professional societies; communities; businesses and governments – to solve. And that includes The Coca-Cola Company.  As Coca-Cola Ambassadors we need to consistently and coherently tell our story through one voice– the voice of our AMBASSADORS”.
He finished his address to the associates by expounded on the significance of creating value in communities where we operate in order to remain the most respected company in Pakistan and continue to grow as a sustainable business.
