A design so distinctive that it could be recognized by touch alone and so unique that it could be identified when shattered on the ground. This was the brief given for the creation of the Coca-Cola bottle which is 100 years young this year. To mark this milestone, The Coca-Cola Company is celebrating with a year-long global campaign that includes new advertising, a music anthem and a series of art exhibits.
In Pakistan Coca-Cola inspired artists from leading universities to create unique, culturally influenced art pieces based on the Coca-Cola bottle - bringing young artists together in an art competition titled “The Art of Happiness”.

With its unmistakable curves and a distinctive contour shape, the Coca-Cola bottle has become a global icon, inspiring a century’s worth of signature moments in film, social history, design and the fine arts. The Brand took this initiative to inspire young artists on the 100th birthday of the Coca-Cola bottle, to display their talent and promote the art and culture of Pakistan.
Led by a panel of esteemed judges including Aysha Jatoi and Zulfiqar Zulfi, 100 art pieces were selected for a spectacular art exhibition in the Al-Hamra Gallery Lahore, one of the cultural hubs of Pakistan.
