On January 19, 2018, The Coca-Cola Company led the industry in announcing a bold, ambitious goal: to help bring back a bottle or can that we sell by 2030.

To achieve this, we will continue to focus on designing our packaging to be 100% recyclable across our expanding portfolio, while partnering with local communities, NGOs, industry, and consumers to ensure packaging doesn’t end up where it doesn’t belong. Coca-Cola will be following a ‘Design, Collect & Partner’ model.

DESIGN: Use more recycled content materials in our packaging, while also achieving 100% recyclable product packaging.

COLLECT: Support recovery systems and partner with local collection authorities.

PARTNER: Create awareness and partner with relevant stakeholders.

For the first time, Coca-Cola Pakistan has partnered with TEDx Lahore and WWF Pakistan for an event entitled ‘Imagined Futures’. Speakers at the event will talk about how their dreams and ideas have aged through the years - whether they arrived at the futures they had imagined and have worked for over the years or have we as a society missed the targets they wanted us to attain.

This year, we come together for a collective understanding of our past and realize the fruits of all our ‘Imagined Futures’. The event will have speakers talk about culture, wildlife, environment and plastic waste management. This event is a part of #PakistanWithoutWaste – a vision of Coca-Cola Pakistan in line with Company’s World Without Waste, the sustainable packaging vision.

With over 7 speakers, the event will be the perfect platform for speakers to share their life lessons and ideas with the general public, inspiring young and passionate minds to at least initiate conversation around environment and our future. You can register for the event by clicking here.
